People with disabilities face great challenges in Tanzania. Often, they receive no government assistance at all.

Left to fend for themselves, they are usually too weak to support themselves. Under the umbrella of WorldChanger, we have formed a group of 20 people with disabilities, the Furaha Group.

Furaha is Swahili for happiness”.

As a group, they can pool their strengths and achieve more together than any of them could on their own. They plan to build a small business together to earn some money. They also find encouragement through singing and praying together.
