Streetwork

We are active—largely on a volunteer basis—in five cities in eastern Germany, visiting primarily foreign women, but also German women, in brothels and work apartments. Some women are not to be found there but will only come to an agreed-upon location, such as a hotel, upon request.

We place particular emphasis on building individual, ongoing relationships. We always bring a thoughtful gift and listen carefully to what the person we’re speaking with specifically needs. Whenever possible, we support them in meeting those needs. If the women wish, we’re happy to pray for them.

Depending on their needs, we refer them to doctors, counseling centers, and organizations that help women leave the sex trade.
