WorldChanger Orphan Ministry

KingsKids Visitation Ministry

The children’s dire plight touched our hearts deeply in 2015. We heard stories that no child should ever have to tell: stories of abandonment, violence, struggle, hunger, pain, and hopelessness.

Inspired by this experience and God’s guidance, we began our ministry in 2016.

It is very difficult for orphans and children in need to lead successful lives and fight against poverty. They usually have no opportunity for a school education or vocational training.

All the children we care for were living in harsh conditions with their relatives. They went hungry, had to work hard, and were abused both physically and emotionally.

Through the loving and caring support provided by our social worker, Paul Masaka, and his team, we’ve been able to build a trusting relationship with each child.

So far, we’ve been caring for about 50 children. Our team visits the children weekly in their homes and helps them on-site as best we can. We provide them with food, clothing, medical care, and send them to school.

As WorldChanger, it is a matter close to our hearts that all our children can attend school. Education is the most important path out of poverty.

But the most important thing we give is love, appreciation, and encouragement. We call them KingsKids because God, their Father in heaven, is King.

Throughout the year, we organize children’s parties—“KingsKids Parties”—and children’s programs for and with our KingsKids. Through these, we aim to discover and nurture their talents. We’ve already formed a small choir and a dance group. In addition to hearing the message of Jesus, every child receives a gift and a warm meal.

By changing one child first,
the whole world is changed.

Our first children's home for girls – „Princess Castle“

… because every girl is a princess.

Why start with a house for girls?

There are moments in life and in service that shape you forever! Moments you can’t undo, can’t forget, and can’t leave behind.

For us, it was the experiences of young girls here in Mugumu in the Serengeti.

Every year, countless girls are denied an education; they suffer violence through female genital mutilation and forced early marriage against their will; they become pregnant at a young age or endure abuse that leaves visible and invisible scars. They have only limited access to medical care, adequate nutrition, and sometimes not even the most basic forms of dignity. In the silence of their homes and villages, their dreams fade away, even though these girls often possess so much potential, so much beauty, and so much of God-given purpose waiting to be awakened.

This need prompted us to first build a home for girls — a place where they can grow and dream. We want to provide 28 girls with protection, a sense of security, and dignity; give them access to a well-rounded education; nurture their creativity; and show them how deeply God loves them.

The house is complete, and the dedication ceremony, with prayer and a blessing, has taken place. We have now also received approval from the authorities.

The girls urgently need your help to create a better home.

With your donation:

  • we can purchase beds and furniture
  • build a playground
  • hire a social worker for the children

Current Donation Project

Playground & covered study area

Our new children’s center has room for 24 children. We’ve already received quite a few registrations—the demand is high. The first children are scheduled to move in in July 2026. In addition to the children’s center, we still need a small playground and a covered area for the learning and reading space. This is where our KingsKids will have the space and quiet they need to do their schoolwork or read books. If you’d like to support us in this effort, please feel free to make a donation with the reference “Playground”. Thank you!

Child Sponsorship – It Starts Small and Can Make a Big DIFFERENCE

We may not be able to change the entire WORLD right away, but we can at least change the life of a single child. And that one child can then — together with others — make a difference in the lives of many.

Our approach focuses on providing support tailored to the needs of each individual child.

This means that we aim to provide targeted support based on the children’s age, their initial academic qualifications, and their social environment. For example, depending on their needs, we offer our KingsKids — beyond the home visit program and the associated support — placement in private boarding schools or our children’s home.

As part of the support program, we ensure that

  • our children can attend school (meaning we also cover school fees, school uniforms, and necessary school supplies),
  • provide them with food and hygiene supplies, and
  • conduct regular medical checkups for them.

Beyond that, however, it is also very close to our hearts to simply be there for the children when they have problems, to be a source of encouragement and light for them, and ultimately to remind them again and again just how VALUABLE&LOVED they are. That is why we want to

pass on to our KingsKids — in addition to all the practical support — above all the love of our Lord JESUS in a very simple and childlike way. Ultimately, we want to support our KingsKids until they are able to stand on their own two feet — both socially and financially — or until they leave the program for other reasons.

Here's how you can help

The amount of the sponsorship contributions depends on the child’s age or educational level:

  • 0 years old through the end of elementary school: 40 €/month
  • Secondary school and vocational school: 50 €/month
  • Boarding schools and our children’s home: 100 €/month*

* If, due to difficult family circumstances, a particularly unhealthy social environment, or other reasons, it becomes necessary to place children in full-day schools or our children’s home, double sponsorships (2 × 50€) may be granted.

In addition to the general newsletters, our sponsors receive a personalized update once a year, including a recent photo of their sponsored child.

A donation receipt will, of course, be issued for the donations in the following year.
