Come & See
An Extraordinary Trip to Tanzania
On this extraordinary trip, you’ll have the chance to marvel at the beautiful country of Tanzania and visit WorldChanger in Mugumu as part of a German-speaking group.
Our “Come & See!” trip takes place once a year. The travel dates are announced the previous year via our newsletter.
The trip is organized and led by our wonderful tour guides, Vincenco & Jessica Dheskalie.
What can you expect?
You can look forward to a boat tour on Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake; a safari in the world’s most famous national park, the Serengeti, to see the Big Five; and a brief visit to a Maasai village to experience traditional African culture.
The highlight of the trip is the visit to WorldChanger in Mugumu.
At WorldChanger, there will be a varied program, for example:
There will be a guided tour of the facility, and you’ll get to know all the departments and projects.
A wonderful staff member will give you an introduction to the Tanzanian way of life, and you’ll learn a few phrases in Swahili that you can then put into practice.
You’ll also have the opportunity to talk with some staff members and teams.
If you sponsor a child through our program, you can take this opportunity to spend some time with them so you can get to know each other a little.
You’ll have the chance to attend classes at the college and observe practical lessons.
You are warmly welcome to participate in the morning devotions at Holy Land, as well as in the school worship service and Bible study.
If you need some quiet time, you can enjoy moments of stillness in the WorldChanger chapel.
It’s also a moving experience to visit our KingsKids at their homes and schools with our social worker and the Love and Hope team.
With our mission team, you can take part in street preaching in Mugumu, pray for the people, hand out soup, and more…
You’ll get to know the town of Mugumu, with its traditional marketplace and its people, and attend a worship service at a local church.
You’ll receive all further information — such as costs, accommodations, visas, and more — after you contact us:
